Jenny Simpson - Board Member

Jenny currently works as Financial Reporting Manager at Chord Energy Corporation (formerly Whiting Petroleum), specializing in the Company’s external SEC filings as well as internal reporting and other technical and corporate accounting functions. Prior to that, Jenny worked in technical accounting at SM Energy from May 2017-March 2018 and as an auditor at EKS&H LLLP (now Plante Moran) from 2014-2017, focusing mainly on the oil and gas and hospitality industries. Jenny has been a board member since 2020 and served as the co-chair for the New Professionals Committee from 2018-2020. Jenny has a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Denver and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting from the University of Notre Dame.
