Dave Loucks from Opportune will be presenting on the Day 2 accounting challenges that companies have faced following their adoptions of ASC 842 and will be covering some best practices and processes that companies should be thinking about as they continue on their 842 implementation journeys. 1 hour of CPE credit will be provided to attendees.

Dave has over 30 years of business experience in public accounting, consulting, and private industry. Dave spent 14 years in public accounting, where he managed audit engagements in the energy and technology industries. Dave was also the CFO of an INC. 500 international software company. Dave co-founded the Assent brand of specialty accounting solutions for the oil & gas industry in 2007, which was sold to Opportune in 2009, where Dave works in business development. Dave is a graduate of the University of Denver and is a certified public accountant in Colorado.  Dave is also on the Board of Directors at the River Deep Foundation and the Colorado Society of CPA’s.
